Cardamom cream cheese fudge brownies are decadent a.f., easy, fast, and will wow the pants off you.
These brownies are just so delicious that it’s almost hard to describe how fabulous they really are. I rarely buy into mixes and hacks, but this double fudge brownie mix by Lehi Mills is legitimately amazing. The mix is flavorful, rich, and moist. And adding cardamom and cream cheese to them just adds a whole new dimension to the fudge brownies. I absolutely love these cardamom cream cheese fudge brownies and am sure this brownie recipe will be a family favorite.
I love brownies in almost any version but this is just near and dear to my heart. I love nearly everything from Lehi Mills. I use their Turkey and Peacock brand flours like they’re going out of stock. So it was only natural that I would pick up a brownie mix for a rainy day brownie craving. Adding the cream cheese makes these brownies more decadent and moist, with of course, the cream cheese flavor. Pairing the cream cheese with cardamom and orange helps to cut the the intense fudge and cream cheese flavors.
The best part about finding a good cake or brownie mix is that by simply swapping out the water and oil for milk and butter, makes them taste so much richer and more chocolaty. Don’t fret too much about the cream cheese swirl, it will look uglier pre-bake than post-bake. Just don’t turn it into a mass of goo. Also, the addition of cream cheese does make it a longer bake time, so keep that in mind.
Personally, I can’t do sugar with more sugar, so I go for a plain glass of milk with these or even a cup of masala tea to balance out the sugar rush.
