In another edition of foods I hate..I can’t stand chikki. I’m ok with sesame in my food...but hate it all packed in together with gud. But that’s also because I hate gud 😂. Worst Punjabi ever..

In other news my diet is going great since I only seem to be making foods I don’t like.

I’ve been craving lauki halwa..even though I hate lauki. If that isn’t the definition of masochism I don’t know what is.

Anyone that knows me will tell you that my sales pitch needs work - it tends to be, “Omg gross, taste this!” And this time was no better. It went something like this, “So I HATE lauki. It tastes green, slightly bitter, and mushy nastiness..but I want to make halwa..will you eat it with me?”

It was delicious despite the trepidation and look of disgust on my face.

I hate the photography and the rambling required to blog..but as they say...b****** love that s***...so..I do the photos but still refuse optimize my pages for grilled asparagus only to then make you first scroll past a small dissertation about how on a small farm in Idaho a farmer had a dream.

Now that the rant is done I’m drowning my sorrows in mango, yuzu, vodka popsicles. They are heaven on a stick. @the_epicuronomist is pretty much all that keeps me accountable in this insta life. So thank you for hosting and more importantly reminding me the importance of keeping a #boozyfruitdiet

When life gives you lemon pickle make mathi, or something like that?

i’m back to corporate life after what seems like an eternity. That means 8 hours of meetings a day followed by 4-6 hrs of emails, spreadsheets, data analysis, KPI reporting, and team management. So..you know...fun. But on the plus side I don’t have to care about humans anymore, so YAY ME!

So...it turns out I’m fat and look like a string of bockwurst, albeit darker. So, with a very heavy heart, I’ve locked away the treats, fatty foods, and donned my sad hungry face.

I’ll pretend to bring this post around by saying - the lady needs her chippies and these okra chips are effin amazing for filling that massive hole in my life. So, yay for silver linings, and being less sausage-y.
