White Russian Milkshake

1.1K

Need an excuse to day drink? The white Russian milkshake is the answer to all of your prayers. It’s fast, easy, and delicious.

I love white Russians, as a go to cocktail. So when creating a boozy milkshake why not take a great cocktail as the base, throw in some Punjabi flare, and create the white Russian milkshake. They’re flavorful, sweet, and never overwhelmingly alcoholic. Then again, there was that time that I thought chicken orange whisky would turn out right. I was WRONG. What’s the quote? “All I know is that I know nothing”. I’d say that’s predominantly true. Unless, of course, we’re talking about these beauties here. They are fucking fabulous.

The beauty of a milkshake is that it’s easy. Not overly complicated in flavors, ingredients, or process. You can sorta wing it and it’ll still be great. Just throw in all of your ingredients, blend, and drink your boozy delight. Which is how it should be. But inevitably you see these milkshake recipes that require a a degree in geology and make open heart surgery look easier.

So about this chicken orange whisky, it was awful. I mean the worst. I know you’re guffawing in shock thinking, “Well no shit!” But seriously, it was even worse than you could imagine. It all started when we threw a farm party. It’s what bougie Punjabi people do, so just go with me on this. We had a farm to ourselves so it was only natural to invite our 100 closest friends and make moonshine. Wait, I’m supposed to be telling your about the merits of day drinking. This shake is great for breakfast – or at least I thought so, as I made it and shot it pre 10 am. It’s a lovely little snacky treat. And you can’t drink too many so it’s responsible sipping. Perhaps not a responsible sugar intake, but hey, you’re past the days of gross vodka redbulls (those were horrible and dark days) so eat hearty, because tonight we dine in…no that’s not right either. So drink the damn shake. It’s delicious. and it’s taken you longer to read this, if you did, than it would take to make the shake.

I now feel the overwhelming need to “sing”, “This is the song that never ends. It goes on and on, my friends. SOME PEOPLE STARTED SINGING IT NOT KNOWING WHAT IT WAS, BUT THEY’LL CONTINUE SINGING IT JUST BECAUSE this is the song that never ends…” I do amuse myself. Need something to detox with, maybe a cup of ginger tea.

I know I need more delicious drinks, don’t you? Try these:
